Why do men like long hair more than short? I've had long hair and short hair. I love both. It seems to be more often than not that men prefer long hair. NOT ALL MEN, but majority. Why? It really bugs me and rubs me the wrong way that men feel this way. I feel like it's such a stereotype..that woman should have long hair because they are female....like it's a barbaric cave man thing. "Me man, you woman, you have long hair to pull ugh ugh."
Some woman look better with short. I think men should be a little more outgoing and accepting of short hair.

I have a husband that loves me with both long and short. I wanted to give him credit for that. He is def. not the norm though which is why I love him!

You are so right. I think I look much better with short hair and my husband actually prefers it that way, but I know many guys that think girls are too butch with short hair. It's just a double standard between men and women like so many other things. My hair is medium length right now, but I am thinking about going as short as my avatar when it gets a little warmer outside (Not green though) lol. I say wear your hair whatever way makes you feel the best because your opinion of yourself is the only one that really counts!!!

I prefer hair that is shoulder length or longer, And since that men who like women are more often then not straight, they like long hair because this looks more feminine, as most guys have short hair.

It's all just a matter of personal preference. I have short hair and guys like it. And i prefer a guy with short hair over a guy with long hair because long hair tends to make guys look too girly.

I feel the same way! I was talking to my guy friend about my new, short, haircut. I said that i felt too short and that I can't wait for it to grow out. He answered by saying,"Oh i totally know i do not like short hair on girls at all" rude much?

I get your point, but I really don't know why. Maybe it's personal taste. I live in Italy, and have noticed that Italians in their 20's don't care if you have short or long hair, but as soon as they start getitng a bit older (say late 30's and upward) they start preferring women with long hair. I don't know why this is so, but it is (at least with me).

Women do pull off long hair well ( I look better in long hair) in comparison to how men with long hair look. It is feministic but do what you like, not what the boys want you to do.

I've had mine both ways too...but my husband prefers it short... he never complains when I grow it long, but is always all over himself w/the complements when I cut it off... maybe you just need to find better men...
