You're right, they're relative nobodies in the televangelist con world. They've stirred a rukus by claiming to be gifts from God while refusing to pay their downtrodden former staff and ousting their broken spirited church participants after they soak them for all they're worth. Gene and Melissa Scott doctrine twists the word of God to benefit them. They're wildly wealthy but claim to be poor to browbeat their destitute followers out of house and home. Gene died of cancer he claimed he'd healed himself from and his pornographic wife Barbi Bridges, runs the show now, hiding and lying about her past. They're the laughing stock of the TV preacher business, that's all.

i remember Gene Scott-he was on the boob tube when i got home for work in the wee hrs of the morning.
he spoke the Word with a smoke in one hand and a glass of scotch or whiskey or whatever in the other.
his language was a little off beat too.
he did show the most beautiful paintings tho.

Don't know, but somebody mentioned the name melissa scott on this forum the other day, saying she had some kind of ministry, I think.
Every tom, dick and harry has a ministry nowadays. Is it because of tax breaks or just great scams? Oh well, maybe someone here will know who they are.....

They are insane. He is not was not a true believer. A total nutcase, and I am sure a real wacko and probably his wife also.
They've got cult written all over them.
Unless he had a major change. Years ago he was an out and out cult icon. Who knows....
Doesn't look real promising though, he just got slicked up.
