Definitely not this year. Montoya is a great overall driver, though... so don't be surprized if he starts to do better in the next couple of years. My guess is that he won't do great this season. He'll fall short of the chase next season. 2 seasons from not is when he'll start to be serious competition for the top NASCAR drivers of today.

i think this season will be a valuable learning experience for montoya. His best shot at a victory will be Infineon or Watkins Glen. He will not make the chase this year, and next year is a slim possiblity. He may break into the oval-track win column next year, but overall I think a slow transition is in store for him.

i think he'll do probably just about like a normal rookie, maybe have a slightly slower year than normal. i'm not sure it'll be anything super or to write home about when i watch him race. he's got tallent of some sort with a car or he wouldn't be so big in the F1 cars or whatever *can you tell i don't follow that much??* . i think its going to take a little time, let him get used to the cars and the rules and i think he'll do just fine!

this is an hassle-free one. If the international gets too warm, we've shown that we are in a position to stay to tell the story it because of the fact the "Cradles of Civilization" have been in warm, dry factors. If the international gets chilly, then we've already shown that we are in a position to stand up to ice an prolonged time, and that's with none "severe" technologies. If the international gets overpopulated, it is going to, out of necessity, stability itself out. i do no longer think of we could desire to be concerned approximately surviving the subsequent a hundred years. the real question is the thank you to we keep the subsequent a hundred years from turning out to be the subsequent dark Age.

Honestly, I think he will have a slow rookie season. He will probably get a few top 10s but making the 2008 chase is just not going to happen.

hes going to be a great driver and win some races but i think he will have to get used to bigger, heavier cars this season and it will be next season before he starts winning. it will be a big learning curve from f1 to the cup series just because of the size difference in the cars.

He will be okay! He never race these kind of cars! Plus, going to places and tracks he has never gone to before. The second time around he will be better, and start getting better finishes.
The cars are heavier and box in, Now he has learn to drive 3 different kinds of cars! Cup car, COT, Busch car.

i think he is way too overratted.... i think montoya expects to immediately be really good since he had so much success in other series.... and its not happening.... on all NASCAR shows they always say montoya is a driver to watch out for and then he does badly..... in all honestly i am reallllllly reallllllly sick of hearing about him

He still hasn't been to a lot of tracks, but so far, he's doing pretty well without that experience. He's still learning, so I don't expect much from him yet.
But once he gets enough experience, he will be a driver to watch every week.

I think he will finish top 20 in points and 2nd in the rookie race and maybe the only rookie that wins this year.
