For the guy up there Fn is usually only on laptops and compacted keyboards...
For you the Fn is ussualy like a secondary function key like on my laptop f6 does something but if I hold fn+f6 my screen brightness will go down fn+f8 turns off my wireless antenna its just depends usually the keys will have the secondary function above them... if not look in your keyboard or laptop manual

It activates some special functions that are showed in the F1-F12 keys. For example, in my pc Fn+F7 activates the external screen. Other keys can be different to F1-F12. For example Fn+BLNum activates the numbers pad.... I have seen this key only in laptops.

It is the function key. It will allow you to use other keys that are in similar font to it. An example may be the "prnt screen" button, or brightness/sound options

if you look at the keyboard you will see other keys that have blue icons on them the fn key enables/disables those keys
