I can normally wash my wavy hair like every 2 days and its fine, but suddenly no matter what the roots look greasy/dirty. Even as its drying after a shower it looks nasty. How can I fix this?

Also, in the shower after I wash my hair it gets literally 'squeaky clean'. Like I run my finger down my roots and its resistant or something. Does anyone understand that? It's hard to explain.

try rinsing with vinegar or beer Sometimes when you try to hard to remove oil, it only produces more oil. That's just the way our body works. If you brush or comb your hair or rub it alot it produces more oil.

Try switching shampoos and conditioners. I suggest a clarifying shampoo and don't over do it with conditioner or products. If that doesn't work, try Paul Mitchel's Tea Tree line. It is wonderful in all aspects. You still need to condition your hair but should only be using a nickel to quarter size amount.

Switch shampoos...sometimes your hair gets used to one. Tea tree oil shampoo (Paul Mitchell has one and there is a Generic brand one) is GREAT for cleansing the scalp. I like to use my regular shampoo and then once a week or so use the tea tree oil one. Put a tiny bit of conditioner on your fingers and only rub it on the ends of your hair. Good luck!

you may have product build up that your shampoo isnt getting out. try using a clarifying shampoo and see if that works. if not then you may just have really oily hair and try to stay away from mositurizing shampoos and conditioners...but never stop conditioning because your hair will dry and out be awful!! Try the clarifying shampoo

Making sure not to leave in condtioner, for your case, for dry hair leaving in a little is fine, no leave in conditioner, and dont condition the scalp, just the length.
