Satan only has the power of temptation but being tempted in and of itself is not sin. It is when man agrees with Satan and acts out in sin based on that temptation. However, there is also the SIN of repetitive, ungodly thoughts. That is covertness or wanting something that doesn't belong to you or OK in God's sight for you to participate in. Thinking on something long and hard enough will eventually cause you to agree with Satan and act out in sin.

In ancient Jewish tradition Satan is simply an angel doing the work that God assigned to Satan to do.
The word Satan means challenger. With the idea of Satan challenging us, or tempting if you will. This description sees Satan as the angel who is the embodiment of man's challenges. This idea of Satan works closely with God as an integral part of Gods plan for us. His job is to make choosing good over evil enough of a challenge so that it becomes clear to us that there can be only one meaningful or logical choice.
Contrast this to Christianity, which sees Satan as God's opponent. In Jewish thought, the idea that there exists anything capable of setting itself up as God's opponent would be considered polytheistic or setting up the devil to be an equally powerful polarity to god or a demigod.
Oddly, proof for The Christian satan/devil mythology is supposedly found in the ancient Jewish texts that were borrowed to create the bible. One can’t help but wonder how Christians came up with such a fantastically different interpretation of Gods assistant Satan in their theology.
Other hints about Satan’s role in human relations can be seen if you look at the name Lucifer. It’s meaning in the original tongue translates as Light bearer or light bringer. Essentially the bringer of enlightenment. The temptations of the Satan idea bring all of us eventually into Gods light. Hardly the Evil entity of Christian mythology.

And this older men/younger women thing happens a lot?
Here's the thing about evil. All evil is a disproportionate or inappropriate pursuit of some good.

Muslims believe in the devil (satan).
We recite these 3 chapters from the Qur'an before retiring ourselves to bed, as thought by Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). The 3rd one is seeking God's protection from evil thougths and deeds.
THE UNITY, SINCERITY, ONENESS OF GOD, CHAPTER NO. 112
Say: He is God, the One and Only;
God, the Eternal, Absolute;
He begetteth not, nor is He begotten;
And there is none like unto Him.
THE DAYBREAK, DAWN, CHAPTER NO. 113
Say: I seek refuge with the Lord of the Dawn;
From the mischief of created things;
From the mischief of Darkness as it overspreads;
From the mischief of those who practise secret arts;
And from the mischief of the envious one as he practises envy.
MANKIND, CHAPTER NO. 114
Say: I seek refuge with the Lord and Cherisher of Mankind,
The King (or Ruler) of Mankind,
The God (for judge) of Mankind,-
From the mischief of the Whisperer (of Evil), who withdraws (after his whisper),-
(The same) who whispers into the hearts of Mankind,-
Among Jinns and among men.

People don't steal, rape, kill, or incinerate buildings because a guy in red pajamas with a pitchfork tells them it's a good idea.
Usually, they do it because they are cruel, immoral, irrational, and/or dysfunctional.
They need Satan to blame for their own behavior.

it's misguidance and psychological problems or inner conflicts that were a result of what people experienced throughout their lives. its cnfusion, usually they see a bigger picture than concentrating on how it will affect single individuals. their priorities are different from yours and they cant find a way to arrange it like yours. it has nothing to do with satin, just different prespectives of viewing things

We are still animals. Chimps do very similar things. Male lions will kill cubs that aren't theirs to make the female breed again.
