yeah take steroids

they will work if u have the money and dont mind the side effects

but your best bet that wont get you in trouble will be to eat right and exercise like you said but there are a few things dealing with that that you are forgetting

you need to get on a plan for both your lifting, cardio, and eating and stick to the plan. keep a record of what you ate or lifted, or how much you ran and try to improve on that each week. when it comes to lifting split your week up into five days, one for chest, one for arms, one for shoulders, one for back, and one for legs. if you have a frined that lifts have them show you what to do or else you will have to try and find a kind stranger to help you or hire a personal trainer for a little while because it is vital that you learn to lift properly. so often do i see people lifting a lot of weight but lifiting in wrong so that they are acutaly not building as much muscle as they would if they used less weight and had proper form and range of motion. also you can really hurt yourself with some lifts and im not talking about just dropping the bar on yourself. if you use improper technique on some exercises you will acutaly damage your body.

it is also good to lift/workout in a place where you will be free from distracions and motivated to lift.

one of the most important tips though i can give you is to find a lifting partner who is at least as equal motivated as you are becasue they will push you and even when you feel like slacking or taking a day off chances are they wont and so you go and workout simply so you dont fall behind them.

this is not something that is going to happen overnight though and it will take a lot of hardwork and dedication. dont expect to see results immedaitly in the mirror but instead try each and every week to do more reps or weight or laps then you did the previous week and soon enough you will start to see the results that you want in the mirror.

Do you want to get ripped like in your title or build musle like in your question? If you want to do both at the same time, the only real way to do it is to take steroids. No lie.

You cannot expect to build that much muscle while trying to get ripped. When you want to get bigger, you need to eat more, especially more carbs, and then to get ripped, you need to eat less and eat less carbs while keeping your protein intake high so you maintain the muscle mass.

If you want to get big then I would suggest the 40/40/20 ratio. 40% of your cals come from carbs and proteins and the 20% is fats. However you want healthy fats so you don't put on too much fat. If you are gaining about a pound a week, I would say that is good mass, even 1.5 lbs. 2 or more, I would worry about how much fat your putting on.

To get ripped, you need to do more cardio to help burn fat and lower your cals. Don't have as many carbs and consume them before noon. Carb cycling is good. That is when you have 3 high carb days and 4 low. You can do any amount of days you want. When you do this, you keep your body on its toes and will burn fat. On my high carb days, I am getting about 100-120 g from carbs and on low car days, about 50.

Aside from having proper diet and workout routine, you need to make sure your getting at least 8 hours of sleep o your body can recover. Some supplements will also help with fat burning, such as green tea pills, and others like whey protein, creatine will help with mass and maintainenece.
