It needs to travel at least 5 meters, and have at least 3 wheels.

Balloon
2 drinking straws
2 toothpicks
cardboard
glue

Glue one straw on top of the other lenghtwise, leaving ~2 inches of one end unglued.
Poke one toothpick through one straw about an inch from the end and poke the other toothpick through the same straw an inch from the other end (these are your axles). Cut out circles from the cardboard and stick them on as wheels.
Attach the balloon to the other straw where they are not glued together. Blow up the balloon through the straw. Pinch the neck of the balloon and set it on the ground, let the air coming out the end of the straw act like a jet engine.

Simple but it should work, hopefully this is for middle school or high school... not sure if I would turn this in for college credit. :)

use some kind of paper. Stick the baloon over some straws. Rubberband it so no air comes out. Tspe it to the paper you use and blow it up. The paper will move if its light enough. Or you can use a coke bottle and tape the straw and balloons to it and blow. I t will move i know because I jus sis the same project 2 days ago.
