Why do men say that there gonna call you and then they never do?

I find that most men say there interested in hanging out and then they say they will call and then they never do. why is that?

yeah i know what you mean. guys usually say they will call or talk to you later, but never actually doing it. i suppose that it's a thing guys do to make them look like the nice guys?

They have a short attention span. It's nothing personal, but they've gotten distracted by something shiny and sparkly.
