what would you choose? I'm just curious whether religious people would prefer to have their "mortal" family and loved ones in their lives or to have God in their life. It can be a simple answer, or you can explain why you would pick one or the other.
Note: I'm not trying to imply that God would ever make you choose, it's just a hypothetical.

It might actually be better with a short explanation for why you would make that choice. And please try to answer as honestly as you can. Ideology isn't important, just the reality of what you would decide.

In my life, I try to always put God first and my family knows that. Not to say I ignore them or anything because God gave them to me and my responsibility is to be a good husband and father. But if the hypothetical ever came true, I would choose God.
I do know some people who have been put in that situation - one part of the family will no longer "speak" to them because they chose God first. It's hard but Jesus said that it would happen...
"Anyone who loves his father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; anyone who loves his son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me; and anyone who does not take his cross and follow me is not worthy of me." (Matthew 10:3-38)
So if I had to choose, I would choose God. Ohyeah... my grandpa was going to "write me out of the will" for being a Christian and I told him that I was OK with that as it was his choice. Turns out he never did follow through with his threat and eventually understood how much my decision to follow Christ meant to me. In the end, I think he was actually impressed with my dedication and increased compassion for him as a Christian.
I hope this provides perspective! Be blessed!

Family. I would make that choice because I don't believe any true God would place himself between you and those you love unless someone you loved was abusive and didn't love you back. Then God might find a way to put a protective wedge in there, most likely by giving you some good advice.

I would choose God because I have learned to love him even more than my family. It would be better to be with him than anyone else because he is just so awesome. I love my family to death but God is #1! I'm glad that he would never make us choose but he does require that we must love him more than our own families.

God structure for mankind is the constitution of the 'Family'. God doesn't want us to choose between Him and our family. God plan the family structure, it is a representation of His very nature, that is why He is so much against divorce and want mankind to populate the world. Jesus said, how can you say that you love God whom you cannot see and hate your brother who you can see.

Me no longer being a deity... i could, of direction, decide for to persist with what God prompt over how God acted. occasion: Your television isn't working. A television repairman contains your place (i be responsive to, that doesn't happen anymore, i'm old), disassembles your television, discovers and maintenance the undertaking, reassembles the television. the television repairman tells you, "do no longer bang on the television once you get excited. that's what brought about the television to no longer artwork." you may desire to go with between doing what the television repairman stated or what the television repairman did. Are you going to stop banging on the television? Or are you going to disassemble the television?

We will have to choose God or others. The question should be who do you love most? I choose God.

I did have to choose and I chose God. I was alienated from family functions and so were my little children. They lied about me to eachother and all because I believed in Jesus and not in their church.

GOD.... I can trust and depend on..... God is my family
Family are know to let you down from time to time, but, God has never let me down, I wouldn't be here if he didn't help when I had no one else to help me.
