Plants remove CO2 from the atmosphere thats one way to do it. There are several mechanical ways to remove CO2 from the atmosphere. Its not at all difficult to do this simple job. Are all the ways to remove CO2 from the atmosphere even known at this time I wonder?

It is impossible because you are talking about controlling natural forces that are beyond the comprehension of mankind. Only a fool believes that we can influence or control nature.

You're correct that it's not difficult to do. The problem is one of scale. Plants use CO2, but not very quickly. Most of the oxygen in earth's atmosphere comes from algae in the oceans, and they can't keep up with our production - they're not even close. We can't even approach the necessary cultivation levels needed to make a dent. We can do it chemically, but the materials needed would overwhelm the earth's industrial (not to mention financial) capacity by several orders of magnitude. I am unaware of a mechanical process that would be capable of removing the CO2 from a single room in a reasonable amount of time, but that doesn't mean one doesn't exist. If humans are going to actively reduce the amount of atmospheric CO2, an inexpensive, massively efficient and preferably small catalytic process would need to be developed. That's why it's much more efficient to curtail our production to below the vegetative capacity, and let the environment rebound itself.

they say not that it is impossible to do it on a small scale

but on a global scale you need to be careful that you aren't merely just transferring one problem to an alternative location

plants breath out co2 as well as inhale it

mechanical methods usually consume energy (and usually co2 as a by product) so that method could be counter productive
