He's confused because plants are usually outside, so he's classed your conservatory as "outside". Now he's started getting his scent is on those plants, they are his territory. Sorry, but the plants will have to go! To stop this, you have to get rid of every trace of his scent on the plants, which means washing the plants, changing the soil & washing the pots. If there is any trace of scent left on them, he'll smell it even if you can't. Once you put them back, make sure he doesn't have access to the conservatory unless you are there to supervise him & as soon as you see him looking as if he's about to go say "NO" very firmly & put him outside - he'll soon realise.

Duh.

You brought his toilet in! Get rid of the plants. Your Westie is only doing what he should do.

If there was a toilet in the yard, and you needed to go real bad, wouldn't you use it?

Good Luck!

My westie loves little ones, strangers, absolutely everyone fairly so he's no longer very dependable yet he's likewise a cuddler, a fetcher, a chaser, and a runner. he's likewise very obedient on the leash and that i in no way fairly knowledgeable him at that. besides, they are so lovable <:-)

if he is around 6 months old, he is just beginning to find his way as a young adult, he should stop, train him not to, or you could have him neutered I guess.
