My friend thinks eating other people's nails over a time can kill you. He thinks even if they are blended down etc. He also said its save to eat ours because our body can digest that.

Because of the nails compostion it is possible that consuming a great deal of them might have a dire effect, regadless of who the owner is because they can clog the bowls because they are extermly diffitcult to break down but most likely it would be like eatting sunflower seeds with shells.

Firstly that is disgusting!
Eating anyones nails is dangerous they splinter and after a long period of time will start to cause some damage, i don't know about death though.
Eating nails can cause worms though there are millions of germs under them.
Easy answer to this question just don't eat nails.

Knowing how many germs are under nails it's not wise to eat them regardless of the source.

eating other peoples nails wouldn't kill you but the germs under them could give you a bit of a tummy upset.

If you have ever eaten Gelatine, A.K.A. Jello, you have eaten animal hooves. Animal hooves are the cows version of nails. So, I don't think it would kill you. However, in my opinion. It is pretty gross. Why would you want to?

i wouldnt have thought so, but when i chewed my nails in the past, they sometimes got caught in my throat, tho i wouldnt want to chew anyone elses
