I'm agnostic myself but there is alot of evidence in that Christianity
is right and and this site is pretty persuasive. It proves the Bible actually predicted that the earth was a sphere before this was
a proven fact.

Jack Bauer: it does? Where? I'm not doubting you just asking where.

I'm not saying it's definitive proof. I mean there's still alot about the bible that is very myth-like.

Er, the site is pretty vague - you can interpret things however you want, I guess.
Ever read "The Tao of Physics"? It's full of this kind of thing, only far more specific and using Buddhist texts instead of the Bible.

Careful now. If you're looking for proof to take on a belief system, then you'll probably run into some crazy stuff. There's lots of stuff in scripture that can be proven real, but that isn't what the scriptures are about. Any sort of doctrine supported by fact probably won't give you much help in the faith department. You're asking this question makes you appear as though you want to believe something, but I wouldn't focus on what can be proven and look for what will help your soul feel at peace as you grow spiritually. Good luck!

The Bible also implies that the world is flat.
Job 37:3
He unleashes his lightning beneath the whole heaven
and sends it to the ends of the earth.
- A globe doesn't have ends, a flat earth does.
Revelations 7:1
After this I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding back the four winds of the earth to prevent any wind from blowing on the land or on the sea or on any tree.
- A globe doesn't have four corners
Daniel 4:11
The tree grew large and strong and its top touched the sky; it was visible to the ends of the earth.
- A tree can be as tall as you want but you still won't be able to see it from anywhere if the Earth is shaped like a globe.

Interesting. If anything it would probably come closer to verifying the theory/idea that some other life form from some other planet had visited earth. Not enough to make me believe in god though. I will look more at the site later. If there were a supernatural being somewhere he she or it does not give a d*mn about us so I would not give a d*mn about it

There is one passage calling the earth a sphere - and several others calling it flat.
Also, you might wish to learn that a sphere is a FLAT circular object. Last time I checked, the earth was not a sphere, but a 3 dimensional orb.

I know there is a verse which refers to the "Circle of the earth", but I am pretty sure it mean round like a plate, not spherical like a ball. Why? Because he same passage says the heavens are stretched like a tent over that circle. You know, like a dome, one of those thingies people put cheese in.

The Greeks knew it was a sphere around 240 BC. Ever heard of Eratosthenes?

Great it says the earth is a circle.
Big Whoop.
Eratosthenes calculated the circumference with over 99% accuracy in 250BC.
Is this evidence that we should be worshipping Zeus?
