For everyone who dosen't know what the boerboel is, it's a large, powerful south african breed of dog that is decended from the old boer dog which was itself created from crosses between mastiffs and bulldogs. They are obedient, intelligent, self-assured and have an extremely strong guarding instinct. Perhaps surprisingly, this does not make the dog a vicious unsociable animal, because the Boerboel was in constant proximity to the farmers and their children, a badly behaved or aggressive dog was unacceptable and would, perhaps rather harshly, have been put down. This very selective and practical breeding ethic has created a loving pet with an even temperament that is happiest in a family environment, where he can put his protective instincts into action when required.

Now as for your question look for an accredited breeder. There is a great difference between a “good breeder” and a “bad Breeder” some may not care about producing healthy, temperamentally stable dogs, others may not conduct their business honestly.
Accredited breeder status is available to all Breeder & European Breeder members that are also registered with the SABT, they will be sent a contract to sign and return automatically, after their membership has been processed.

No idea! But I hope you find them. We had one when I was still a kid and she was lovely. She even used to do somersaults around the garden when we came home! No kidding!
