...you're not that pretty? I have a low self-esteem sometimes (b/c I used to be teased when younger). I'm being honest here so I really just want sincere answers-don't be mean but please be honest! My q. is:
Would guys look at you if you're ugly? I'm not pretty, but I'm not hideously, "hey look at her, she's a freak of nature," either! lol! Seriously I don't get it.
There have been a few guys now (and in the past) that I'm pretty sure are out of my league b/c, comparatively-speaking, I'm not as pretty as the Barbie-esque girls on my campus. I'm a unique sort of pretty (not blonde, double D's, but you get the pic: tan skin, tall, thin but have curves in the appropriate places...w/e)....and sometimes I get the vibe that some guys like me...but then they turn around and like 10 Sorority Barbie clones throw themselves at him...it's like 'cmon!!!! How do I compete?!
So considering the fact that these guys have so many options, why me? Why look at me?

because some guys see girls from underneath the surface and can observe just by looking at you how amazing you are. not Every guy loves the malibu barbie type believe it or not.. because those girls are "easy" so to speak usually, and a lot of guys like "more of a challenge"... don't be so hard on yourself. not all guys are complete pigs.. (although a lot are, haha.. still they cannot be stereotyped this way). just enjoy that guys are looking at you..i don't see why that is so bad. and i don't believe in that whole out of your league thing.. i think it's dumb. because you never know when that perfect someone for you is going to be in what size, shape, or form.. best wishes to ya! :)

You say you are not pretty? Just because you don't look like a super model does not mean you are not pretty? It often surprises me when my guy friends tell me who they are attracted to. If you are tan, tall, curved in the appropriate places then the guys are probably checking you out.
What is your personality like? Guys may be drawn to your personality as well as your looks. Sure some guys like to look at all the barbie doll hotties but most guys have a certain thing they are looking for when it comes to the real deal. Give yourself a little more credit. You are beautiful because you are a woman and we all have something beautiful to share with the world.
Next time you are getting a vibe from a guy throw him a smile and see what happens!! Good Luck!

when i was in elementary school i was teased and put down by the popular crowd. sadly, it took me about 15 years (married 6 of them) to realize that i was still seeing myself as that 12 year old that was never pretty enough or good enough. now i know that i may not be what people consider a "10", but i'm just me... pretty, unique, and a worthwhile person. not that i watch such things ;), but if you look at some of the girls on "America's Next Top Model", they aren't really what you'd call "head turners". you can be beautiful because you have a good personality and good heart. i bet if you found a way to love yourself for all that you are, you'd have even more guys looking your way. :)

Female opinion - I'm telling you, they're looking at you because you seem to have more to you. You're attractive outside and in, these barbie girls are okay looking on the outside (if you like paris hilton types) but they aren't anything to talk to.
You were teased when you were younger..... YOUNGER though!! You've probably filled out into a beautiful girl, you've probably gotten a lot more attractive as you've grown.
How can you (being an individual) compete with girls like that? girls that all look the same, dress the same, flick their hair wear hot pants and have no idea that there's even a war going on in iraq .........iraq... whats that?? They can't compete with you. And girls like that make me sick.

Just be yourself! That's coming from a guy,ok. You can try different make-up techniques, and hairstyles, and clothing, but don't get carried away. You'll find that mature guys look deeper than just the outside. Take your time and good things will come your way. Good Luck.

I used to ask myself the exact same question. And it took me a while to figure out that they actually liked me. I'm not perfect not even close but still im a unique person and that gets some peoples attention. I hope this helped! Goodluck =]

look a lot of guys find different girls "pretty" well dat guy prolly was like "wow shes pretty" i mean to u, u may not seem pretty but to other ppl u might b the SECKIES THING EVA!!

because u r the girl they could have a relationship with...those other chicks r just girls they can screw around with....don't go for a guy that is full of himself...u never want one that thinks he looks better than you....if they r interested they will come around..let them make the first move
