Is he still in love with me?

Question

My best friend (for a few years) and I have recently fallen head over heels for each other - we were not expecting this at all - we truly care and adore each other but we decided that right now is not a good time in our lives to have that serious relationships we long from each other. We're still great friends but i'll notice he'll do certain things that give it away:
- put his hand on my thigh
- when there's light physical contact, he holds my hand
- when he hugs me, it's tight and close
- he gives me a kiss on the hand (though he's tempted to really kiss me)
- says, "maaaaan, you should be getting over me...this isn't helping...it's a slow process to get over you..."
- tries to fish for answers about other guys if i'm interested in them or not
- he'll randomly just give me that look and smile at me, and look away

What do all of his actions mean? Does he still love me?

I married by best friend. We were friends for a long time before we even started going out. I think there are signs there that there could be something else there besides being good friends!! Good Luck, I hope the outcome is what you desire!

I think you answered this question yourself. To me it's obvious he still does. I say go for it. You can't just turn feelings on and off like water. Since neither one of you have anyone else, why not pursue this?
