He looks like he has some kind of inner torment. Unfortunately he may be externalising that conflict on the World, so projecting the bad feelings in his turmoil on Westerners and indeed Israel. (Like A.Hitler). Pity he went into politics, in a quieter life he may have been able to work through his problems more. I hope Iranians vote him out soon but not sure how often they get to vote.
