There's different types. curry goat meat, spanish, calzones , etc.
CURRY GOAT MEAT

3-5 lbs. goat meat
3 tbsp. curry powder
1 tsp. black pepper
1 lg. onion, chopped
3 cloves garlic, chopped
Salt to taste or seasoned salt

Clean and wash goat meat. Add curry powder, black pepper, seasoned salt, chopped onion, chopped garlic. Rub seasonings well into goat meat. On a cooking pan place about 1 tablespoon butter or oil, whichever you prefer. Pour meat into pan with oil while it is still cold. Stir and cook until tender.

I used to live in Greece and they eat a lot of goat meat there. Like lamb, the meat will depend on the age of the animal. Older meat is quite tough and they would simply boil it. I would prefer to put it into a stew myself, like mutton. Young goat meat is much more tender and the chops are lovely grilled, fried or barbequed. I love the strong taste of the meat, much more interesting than lamb, unless you are lucky enough to have your own sheep which you graze on the mountains, rather than on improved agricultural grassland. Goat meat has a characteristic smell and flavour of - well - goat, really !!!

Yes it is like Lamb, but a lot less fatty. Goat meat is 50%-65% lower in fat than similarly prepared beef, but has a similar protein content to beef.

You can Saute, Grill, Roast, Braise, simmer of steam it. The secret is it is better if cooked slowly.

The Rump, topside, round, silver side and eye of saddle should not be steamed, it goes a bit tough.

Avoid rosting the pallards and round medallions - or steaming them, as the lack of fat makes it a bit dry.

The boneless legs, shoulders and saddles are better to roast or braise

goat meat is like lamb. the main differences is that it is slightly more tougher than lamb so needs to be marinated for longer. it also has a much better flavour than lamb and is much more healthy as it has very less fat in it. you can cook the mutton in all the same ways like lamb.

goat meat tastes similar to beef, with a hint of venison. it's very lean and therefore very healthy to eat.

goat meat can be eaten in much the same was as lamb or beef - it makes excellent casseroles and curries, and slow-roasting it makes it tender.
