Forgive the people who were crucifying Jesus. They had no idea of the enormity of what they were doing. It depended on whether they repented, as to whether or not they were forgiven. There is no account of this recorded in the Bible.

The thief on the cross, was forgiven, as he cried out to Jesus in repentance.

Dear Eleven, jesus was referring to those whome were crucifying Him. They didn't know they were crucifying the Holy Son of God. were they forgiven? i dont know the mind of god, but I know that the act of forgiveness is preceded by repentace from the offender. But do you know why Christ died? let me explain by asking you a few questions.......

Have you ever lied, stolen, lusted, coveted, or been angry with someone unjustly? If so, then you have broken the Law of God. God is Holy and Just, and he will not simply overlook our sins. The Commandmets are a reflection of Gods Charachter, and when we sin, we not only offend God but deny his character and His Holiness. Thats why God is so serious about sin. the penalty for sin is hell. but the good news is that Christ died for us taking the Just punishment we deserve. and Now God Commands people everywhere to repent (turn from sin) and trust in christ and be saved. God has appointed a day in which you wil face him, will you be ready?
God Bless

I believe that Jesus was talking about the men torturing him

Most importantly, I think that we need to turn to God. We must make the decision that love and forgiveness are God’s way. And then, we must call upon Him to help us. That quick gut reaction, "let’s get them back": I think that that is a base natural instinct. But the way of God is far above that. God’s way involves justice. God’s way involves forgiveness. God’s way involves love. It is more than the natural human reaction. It is the response of a human graced by God. We need him.

I really think Jesus was setting an example of illustrating true forgiveness. The men torturing him did not ask for forgiveness, in all likely hood they enjoyed the torture. But because God is so far above mere human instinct He wanted to forgive them because they truly did not believe He was God. They believed that he was some lunatic claiming He was God which was punishable by death in that day.

Forgive you, and me and everyone who was affected by Adam's sin. They didn't know that they were killing the very embodiment of God in human form. Yes, John 1:12, 1Peter 3:18, Romans 5:8, John 3:16-18

The Romans and the Jews who tortured and crucified him. They didn't know that Jesus was The Lord and Son of God. Hopefully they were forgiven.

For all people doing wrong ( for example people mocking Him on the cross when He was giving His life so that others can live).

They did not know that He is the way to heaven. And many still do not accept it.

Yes, if they asked forgiveness. In that case you must accept Him for what He is.

Forgive those who crucified Him. They didn't know He Is Emanuel - God with us, any of them that repented and accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior was and still are forgiven.

the people who were laughing and killing Jesus. They didnt know what they were doing and who they were doing it to. They put Jesus on a cross, its the whole reason God decided to come to earth. He had to make the ultimate sacrifice.Only God knows if they were forgiven.
