I'm trying to find a GOOD place to get my hair cut. The style I want is kinda modern and I'm trying to find a well known place that generally does good work.

If i were you i'd visit the place first. You might have better luck working with someone who is black and knows a lot about the hair type. Also, ask any friends you have with ethnic hair where they get their hair done.

STAY AWAY FROM TRADE SECRET!
I went there for them to perm my hair, which I've had done with great results before. And they fried my hair! My scalp was actually bleeding AND I had NO curl. Just completely fried, dead hair. Then they acted like it wasn't their fault because my hair just reacted that way and refused to give a refund.
Just talk to some people you know with similar hair and see where they go.

I think it would depend on where you were located and what you wanted to get done. Are you getting a cut on natural, permed, or relaxed hair?

not sure but u may want to try carolsdaughter.com and the prices arent too bad either.
