one would not know because one would not eat a hamster because one thinks that thats just plain nasty. Maybe if one knew one would cook it at the same temperature as one would cook beef.

Well, guinea pigs are and Andean delicacy. They are usually fried, so the hamster should probably be fried as well. Heat the oil to 350 F.

Just to make sure, you should try the oven out first, just to be sure it's the right temp. I would start at 500 for about ten minutes, roll over, and do another ten.
