I have yahoo groups that I've been a member of for 4+ years that have offered great support. I've also been a member of a few that got way to catty to stay a part of. It all depends on your tolerance level for that. You can also find groups on MySpace. The great thing about these types of groups is you can search for others in your branch of service or the area you live in or the area your DH is in.

Check to see if your Family Readiness Group has a site. I know several including ours that do.

For more general military groups you can try http://www.cinchouse.com/ or http://messageboards.ivillage.com/iv-rlmilitarywi.

And don't forget places that give just good old support. Network with friends and relatives. And don't forget about people from church or school or work. A lot of times all these people need to know is that you could use some help and they'll be glad to pitch in.

Here's hoping the time goes by fast and it doesn't feel like too long before you have DH back again.

i would tell you google and myspace. Yahoo and msn have a lot. I personally don't like that kinda thing, too much drama goes around. I just tried hard to make friends with experienced military wives who had been there done that. And i'm trying hard to keep up with frg though i here that can be a rumor mill too. Mine is leaving anytime and if you need someone to talk to IM me anything. Oh blogging like on yahoo 360 is awesome too. Good luck to you and yours, i'll be thinking of you.

There are a lot of them out there. You should look them over first. Several of them are not very active anymore. Thank you and thank your husband for me. I know the sacrifices you are making.
