I hook my freind up with a girl he liked.. they had been going out for 3 years now he is dumping her and she has became really good friends of mine ...almost like a girl friend ... and i am not sure what she is trying to do .. if she just wants to make him mad or likes me for me .........help.

if you are a better friend with the girl than the guy, i think i would find out if she likes you like that, and if she is, i would take that chance, because you don't know she might be THE ONE for you, but i dont know about taking that chance, the question is
are you willing to lose a friend, gain one, or get a girlfriend?

Get to know her better...if she sticks around even after a long period of time, she's obviously interested in you (she wouldn't spend so much energy on pretending to like you...after a while you would just find out it's fake b/c she would get tired of pretending and would make a move on her ex)

umm...be careful if they were together fro 3 years its not easy so maybe she is planning revenge but maybe not. Do you like her? if you do are you sure its her and not you how you see her or porbably she does correspond you its very uncertain just see the way she acted when she was with him and how long have you been perceiving this attutide towards you and there is your answer.

Don't go out with her right away--wait a good while.
If she started acting this way toward you immediately after the break-up, she probably wants to get back at him. Or she's trying to mask her pain by going out with you instead.
Either way, you should wait.
