10 being it puts you in a bad mood just to make the drive.

Now notice I didnt say how LONG of a drive because I only have a 20 minute drive but it is stress full, too many merges/traffic/dumb drivers.

-3 , I work for my self and my shop is 100 yards away . I do not miss driving through traffic . I really like getting out of bed 15 minutes before the employees show up and going home for a home cooked lunch.

I have exactly the same commute as in the past, and now I'd rate it about a "3," but it used to be at least an "8."

What's changed is ME. In the past I used to get all angry and frustrated at slow drivers, and by people whose stupidity behind the wheel seemed beyond belief. Every day I'd be all tensed-up by the end of my commute.

But then one day I realized that I was being even more dumb than these drivers, because I was at fault for allowing them to get to me so much. So what I do now, for example, when I get stuck behind a slow driver, is say to myself, "Well, I guess I'll be getting home 6 minutes later than otherwise"--I sort of accept it and let it go. Most of the time this works pretty well, and most of the time I get to work and back home again in a much better frame of mind.

Typically 1, but in the winter with snow & ice on the road it can be 4-5 at worst.

Early morning, surface streets, little traffic but also little attention from plows in winter.

Seeing as how driving IS my work (limo driver), I cannot allow myself to get too stressed. There are times, though, that stupid idiot MASSHOLE dirvers just get me riled.

'Specially the ones in and around Newton Corner at rush hour. If you KNOW you need to get off in Newton, please, for the love of GOD, be in the right lane BEFORE, say, the EXIT ITSELF!!!!!! Just a pointer.

Edit: Oh, and * fly * is right. Rhode Islanders scare even me, and I don't scare easy lol. They are in a neck and neck tie for craziest, ballsiest, scariest drivers, right up there with Miami-ians.
