I got this letter in the mail saying I won money. I just want to know if anyone has even heard of this company. Please help!!

I agree with the first two answers. I have never heard of them and don't need to. Unless you entered the 'contest' in question, there is no possible way you can win. If you had entered, you would not have asked us this question.

Reporting Agencies don't offer awards. It doesn't make sense. It's probably asking you to provide some personal information in order to claim the award, right? That's how scammers do it. Nothing comes free, always remember that. No doubt it's a scam.

2. If you can not find the company on the web, then it's not likely to be legitimate.
3. You should contact Consumer Affairs in your state.

Sorry it's not the answer you want to hear, but you need to shred that paper.

No, most likely the company is just lyting to you and there is some illegal process involved. I would Google them and see what pops up or maybe if there is a number, call them. Take precautions before acting. Good Luck
