I am just curious as to what one would typically have to pay on top of the regular price.

I live in Indiana where sales tax is 6%, so I am pretty sure I'd have to at least pay an extra almost $600.

You should only pay the purchase price plus tax and tags. You should not have to pay more than $100 in dealer's fees depending on what else IN charges (like tire disposal fees and the like).

I'm not sure about IN but in KY you do not have to pay the sales tax if it's a used car that has already been licensed in KY. You guys pay property taxes when you buy the plates, don't you?
