The fact is that a supreme being, God, cannot act in an illogical manner with respect to that being's divine and perfect attributes. Hence, God cannot make a rock so big that He could not move it, nor could God do anything that would be a logical contradiction to His divine nature.
Omnipotence means God can do everything that is possible. Omnipotence doesn’t mean that God can do anything. The concept of omnipotence has to do with power, not ability per se.
In fact, there are many things God can’t do.
He can’t make square circles.
He cannot lie.
He cannot create a morally free creature who couldn’t choose evil.
None of these, though, have to do with power. Instead, they are logically contradictory, and therefore contrary to God’s rational nature.
See also:
"Whatever implies being and nonbeing simultaneously is incompatible with the absolute possibility which falls under divine omnipotence. Such a contradiction is not subject to it, not from any impotence in God, but because it simply does not have the nature of being feasible or possible. Whatever, then, does not involve a contradiction is in the realm of the possible with respect to which God is omnipotent. Whatever involves a contradiction is not within the scope of omnipotence because it cannot qualify for possibility. Better, however, to say that it cannot be done, rather than God cannot do it." (T. Aquinas Summa Theologica p. 163-164 , Volume I, ques. 15 ans. 3)
One needs to have a formal knowledge of philosophy and logic to understand the nature of my answer. Just claiming "he is all powerful and knows everything so he can do anything" is nonsensical.

Dear pretty, let me make a Point here, your question is perfectly fair yet somewhat flawed. The Bible tells us that the genesis creation was Good. there was no sin and suffering or death. why then did God give people like adam and eve the abillity to sin, knowing full well the consequences it would bring? If adam and eve had been created without the abillity to Choose, what would seperate us as the human race from robots? Nothing would, we would be programed to do whta the mast bids without any choice. Which would you rather have, the will to Choose, or being forced to do only what God wants you to do? I belive I know your answer, ofcourese you would want to have free choice, the attribute of free will and free choice is what makes us who we are. A father cannot make his own Child love him. They Choose to love him because they have a free will. Secondly and Most importantly, Humanity would have never seen the depth of Gods Lof as displayed thru the cross, Unless adam and eve had sinned, and that alone could be one reason why God chose to let sin enter the world. Ulitmately we will nevr know 110%, However what has happend has happend, and Now we Must look to the future, How will God deal with sin, what are the consequences, How does it effect you and I? let me ask you a few questions.....
Have you ever lied, stolen, lusted, coveted, or been angry with someone unjustly? If so, then you have broken the Law of God. God has said "You shall not steal; You shall not lie; You shall have no other gods before Me; You shall not murder, and you shall not covet. if we have sinned against God there are consequences, The Commandments are a reflection of the character of God. Therefore, to break God's Commandments is to offend God and deny the holiness of His character. This is why God will not over look any sin, he has been a wittness to everything you and I have ever done. The penalty for sin is hell. The Good news is that Christ died for you, You broke Gods law and jesus paid your fine when he died on the cross. Gods wrath was poured out upon jesus instead of you, and He now commands men everywhere to repent (turn from sin) and trust in jesus and be saved and granted everlasting life.
God Bless

He doesn't. All of His creations are perfect to begin with, we have free will and sadly we let Him down again & again. He knew Lucifer would try to overthrow Him, He hoped Lucifer would change his mind.

In Islam, we believe that Iblis(or Satan) turned bad after being told to bow down to Prophet Adam. He Satan said, "Why should I bow down to mud if I am fire?" Allah then ordered Satan to be thrown out of Earth. Then, Satan said he would like to challenge Allah. Satan said he would like to prove that humans are inferior to him. So Allah gave him until the Judgement Day to do his tempting.
Allah can make everyone to believers in 1 second, He is testing everyone until Judgement Day. They will either go to Heaven or Hell.

Because GOD gave mankind self determination, he never set out to make perfect beings.

If God wanted a race of perfect puppets, He would, He could, He should, but nope, didn't happen.
Other than God, nothing can possibly be really perfect, but if you define "perfect" by the best possibility, then this world is truly perfect.

the existence of evil is one of many proofs that no biblical god exists. good point. he knew damn well what Satan was going to do, angels have no free will, so god actually MADE him become evil. angels are gods imaginary friends.
