Your soul is your interlect, mind, will, emotions.
Your Spirit is your inner being, the part designed to have a relationship with the Holy Spirit.
In John chapter 3 of the New Testament of the Bible, when Nicodemus, a Jewish Ruler asked Jesus how a person could be born again, Jesus answered, flesh gives birth to flesh, spirit gives birth to spirit.
When a person becomes born again by God's Spirit, then that person's spirit is born.

You are spirit, you have a soul and you live in a body. The soul, consists of the mind..the will..and the emotions. When you die, your body will remain here, but your spirit will live on, to eternal life or judgement.

We are the spirit or the soul and don't get fouled up with various interpretations! Spirituality is very simple, as it holds power, and the power embrace simplicity in it!
