I would recommend the computer program "Rosetta Stone". It is the most popular language learning program today. They also have a large number of other languages.

I learned it with a cassette course: Dutch in 3 mos. by Hugo. I'm not fluent, but I got good enough to converse and can understand a thing or two when I listen to radio nederlands/read de telegraaf.
