I answered this question a while ago. You can give your dog, 1 teaspoon of tomato ketchup with food once a day and it will stop thje grass going yellow, the acid in the ketchup stops it, i found this out from a famous gardening expert in a sunday paper in the uk, so please try this,he said it works, my sister does it with her dogs and it does!

When my dog wet on the lawn it seemed to grow better. When my sister looked after both my dogs, her husband asked how he could get them to wee more evenly so that his lawn grew as well all over

You could try dog rocks lawn saver. supposed to be very good

You put the rock in the dogs drinking water and it's supposed to neutralise the wee when it comes out the other end.

First off, train your dogs there is a place for them to pee. I would never be comfortable adding anything to my dogs food/water or putting a chemical on the lawn unless it was prescribed by a trusted vetrinarian.

Take your dogs to the spot you want them to pee, and reward them when the pee there. At first, you could take some waste and put it there as a "marker". Just don't give up, be persistent about it.

There are tons of different products on the market but check with your vet first since any product you give your pet will change the urine PH. Changing the urine PH can cause crystals or stones. There might be something safer your vet recommends. But very important don't give your pet any over the counter meds without consulting your vet first. Your yucky lawn could be the least of your worries. Good luck. :-)

There are products that you can add to their food to lower the PH, but there are also products you can spray on the lawn itself.

If you go to www.petsmart.com, click on Dogs and then "clean up and lawn repair" on the left, they list some products.

Your best bet would probably be to just go to the store and look at the labels.

Good luck

Number one, you can buy cranberry vitamins (changes the acidity). Also, you can buy a toy firehydrant at the pet store that has a scent to it. Your dog will only pee on the hydrant so put it in the corner of your yard.

If you buy this stuff called Greenum, it will help the grass from not turning yellow. It's really easy to give to your dog, you just put it in their food and they eat it.

Tomatoes are supposed to work very well. A small one a day or something like that.

There are also sprays you can get from pet stores, that if applied right after, help reduce the 'burn'.
