It says you drive a pickup truck.

Do you use it to haul stuff?

Do you think of yourself as a cowboy?

Do you yearn for a life no longer available due to your suburban surroundings?

Truth be told, no one really cares what you drive unless you pimp out the thing. Then people think that you are overcompensating for other... shortcomings.

I live in Texas. Pickups sell very well here. Some buy them because they need them (half of Texans live in more rural areas). Others buy them because of the cowboy mystique. A buddy of mine is a CPA and works for HP and lives in an exclusive subdivision in a well-to-do Houston suburb... and drives a truck. Me, I drive a Nissan (I have an Altima AND an old 280ZX).

Depends on the truck. Here in Australia, where we call it a "ute" (short for utility vehicle), there are two types of ute -
a working ute, which has mud, dust, dents, stuff in it and a dog in the back, and
a cute ute, all polished up, covered, and obviously only ever used to pick-up dumb blondes.
The working ute driver is a working man, and is respected. The cute ute driver has a single-figure IQ, and is smirked at.
There is another type - the type with racy or dumb (or both) bumper stickers all over it, two unconnected aerials, severaql driving lights, a bull bar, and a driver with a baseball cap turned around. The guy driving that has no self-respect, and is pitied.

Plus, there is shape initiatives happening down here continuously, and those contractors would be in deep dookie in the event that they couldn'tcontinual their pickups. nevertheless, come to think of of it, i would not positioned it previous the mayor to bypass some sorta "pickup truck tax". i do no longer think of it incredibly is handed off yet in spite of the undeniable fact that. long tale short: i would not problem approximately it.
