I got mono in october of last year. I know it spreads by contact with others. i wanted to know if i still have in me? can i still spread it to others?

the virus in most is found unactivated in spinal fluid. it can also reactivate at any time. sometimes it can cause shingles, in others, it can remain in a chronic state.

Mononucleosis remains in your body for life. You are infectious for about 4 to 6 weeks of onset. No, you cannot spread it anymore.

For more info, the other lady that said it can show up as shingles, is totally wrong, shingles is a form of chicken pocks, I think she has them mixed up.

U can't spread it anymore.However,u can still carry it.Be careful.
