Great match up, and the blogbaba must tell you I have a soft spot for Kronk fighters, I'm from the Detroit area and have a lot of great memories associated with the Kronk.
I hate to say this after that intro, but I'm going to have to give Marlon Starling the edge. It would have been a hell of a fight, but in their prime, Starling had a toughness about his character that seemed to be lacking in McCrory. Milton was game, but if I remember correctly tended to fade a bit near the end of fights, a problem that Starling didn't show. It would have been a slight edge, but enough.
Starling by decision.

I think Starling would've stopped McCrory in the late rounds. Milton was a decent fighter but he lacked the toughness and heart of Starling. Starling would just press forward with his hands high and with a tight defense he would pick off McCrory's shots and punish him with counters and wear him down en route to a 10th round tko.

Ay one time McCrory was drawing comparisons to Thomas Hearns because of his height, reach and punching power but of course he never quite lived up to those expectations. Starling was a great defensive fighter and very clever in the ring. I believe that Starling would win a unanimous decision in this fight.

Starling! I was never big on McCrory and Donald Curry proved that McCrory was overrated when he blew him away. Starling would've done the same thing to McCrory in 5 rounds or less.
