Well first i have to say that i think you are a very responsible girl and definitely have a good head on your shoulders for saying that it is better to wait.
OK so your friend is only 15, and i too, think that she should wait to see if this guy really is the one she wants to loose her virginity too but in saying that, if your friend truly believes that this is what she wants then as long as both of them are careful then i hope it goes well for them both.
All you can do is give her the facts and let her decide for herself, just be there for her as a friend without judging her.
Good luck xxx

you should wait until you have had the conversation, if i get pregnent what will we do? If you are embarresed to talk to him about that, then you should wait because even with condoms there is a chance of her getting pregnent. Also, you can tell if you are ready if you can look at each other naked with the lights on, sex is much more intamite then just looking at each other. If they feel akward doing that, they are not ready. They should also wait a little while, they have only been going out about a month!!! You should wait until at least 4 or 5 months to have sex with your boyfriend at a young age. anyway tell your friend good luck.

Hello,
(ANS) I think its a VERY bad idea at 15 its just to young, its to early in my opinion. I think a good age for first time sex i.e. to loose your virginity is between 16,17,18 yrs old.
**I know the age of pubity & sexual readiness is changing but I think you have to be emotionally & pyschologically ready too, otherwise it could be a very negative first experience and that would be a very sad thing in my opinion.
**If she waits for a little longer until may be 17yrs old I think it could be a much better experience. First sexual experiences are so important to a happier sex life later on in my view. If the first encounter is dreadfull that could shape your /her future views on sex and relationships & boyfriends.
**I dont think she should give into the social pressures to have sex before she is ready.
**I think the sex is likely to be better if she had to wait abit longer.

Sorry, but I still think 15 is too young. I was 18 and I am still not sure I was mature enough. There is no harm in waiting a little longer.

( im sorry if i sound like ur mother) but getting pregnant at 17 kinda shell-shocks u. so do urself a favor and wait and tell ur friend do the same but if she does let her be stupid solo ok.

WAIT!!! Definately wait until you are older! There is no need to rush into something you might regret later on. Wait until you are in your 20's and with someone you really care about and can see living the rest of your life with.

Everyone is different.
Its your choice to wait.
Its hers if she doesnt. Its not right or wrong. As long as she has the decency to invest in contraception anyway..
But at 15, shes still young.. Probably naive.. and probably best to wait. But she can make her own mistakes. But either way, if shes made her mind up, your opinion wont matter to her.

they are too young mentally and have not been together very long. Tell her to wait, and make sure he is the right one to put her trust in. She will only regret it if she doesn't wait. If he likes her enough he will respect her decision. Tell her to make sure she is carefull when she does, and not to give in to any pier pressure from him or his friends or her friends. You are a good friend as you are looking out for her. Make sure you advise her to wait.

at 15??? of course its better to wait --- you will mature over the years and have the resources emotional and financial to make your first time safe comfortable not rushed --- something enjoyable to look back on with delight --- the first time is always disappointing its not until you have some more experience and know each other better that it becomes something fabulous --- and ALWAYS use protection

It's far too soon at her age tell her to think of her future as she might not have one if she goes ahead, there's plenty of time for sex! and anyway shouldn't the pair of you be concentrating on your studies a bit more instead of dreaming up fantasies... believe me you aint missing much a ten minute thrill... and a lifetime to regret it.
