You can try and switch pots, but I am afraid that the burned taste has permeated through the spaghetti sauce.
Or once you've switched to a new pot, add a tablespoon of tomato paste, the more sauce and give it a try.

If you can just take the top of the sauce out without the burnt part it might not have the taste. I use a crock pot just put everything in first thing in the morning and leave it on for the day and theres no problem. I have burned to may sauces with an electric stove.

dump it in a clean pan and do NOT scrape the scorched stuff into the new pan... Now add some parmesan cheese or some butter and one teaspoon of sugar and a little extra shake of ground oregano. that should do it :)
This is a hint for cooking without burning.. cook at the lowest effective heat.. what does that mean you say.. on many of the pans you can tell when heat is keeping up cooking by spinning the pan lid. If it spins a little then the heat is cooking food.. keep turning it down until it just barely spins a little. Also you can turn off the burner for the last few minutes of cooking since the burner stays hot way long after the electricity is turned off. Good luck!

If you notice that something is burning, immediately pour it in another pan, trying not to scrape the bottom. That's the part that has the burned taste and if you mix it up, all of it will taste that way. You need to turn your burner down lower and/or make sure you stir it more often.

I feel your pain. I hate electric stoves, too.

If you haven't stirred it, you may be able to pour the sauce off, leaving the burnt stuff stuck to the bottom. Carry the stinky pot outside and wash it there.

If you've stirred it, or burnt specks are coming up into the sauce, it's ruined. Just pitch it.

It probably can't if it tastes burnt, I would suggest you trying keeping your stove on medium to med high when cooking even though I'm sure you and your friends have the munchies it will be worth the wait

i think that this gets to be a solid lesson to observe the sauce! besides, if the sauce is risk-free to eat, then make the main of it. you may upload a touch sugar, greater tomato sauce, chopped veges etc. yet i think that the underlying and lingering flavor would be burnt!

No, but next time immediately submerge bottom of pan into cold water, this may help
