The relationship is one sided. It has the United States and its citizens doing all the paying - with Mexico giving nothing but people that they don't want and won't help. What else is a person to think when the Mexican government is willing to pay out big money on GPS and load them with information to aid in getting them out of the country over areas that the nature of the land will kill a person?
A government more willing to spend money on getting their own citizens out of their country vs. using the money to help those same people - - you think those that would do such are to be trusted?

Why are Mexicans coming into the United States in the first place?
They have their own country, Mexico.
Mexicans should be demanding reform in their own country and starting businesses and creating economic opportunity in their own country.
The US enables corruption in Mexico by giving the Mexican elite a safety valve by opening up the borders and profiting off cheap labor.

Who? The United States of America and the United States of Mexico?
The relationship of the two is actually quite peaceful, but as usual there are always some people who always want to make two neighbours fight each other.

I think all illegal immigrants from Mexico currently in the United States need to be deported. Period. there is no relationship between the US and Mexico. It's us giving and them taking(as usual). They need to go.

I am one of the few here on Yahoo answers who thinks immigrants help us much more than they hurt us and that we very badly need to reform our immigration policies to allow more people to come here legally.
But something is very troubling to me........
The answer to Mexico's economic problems (where the distribution of wealth is FAR worse than here in the states) is NOT and should NOT BE to send everyone here! And yet....the Bush administration does nothing where it SHOULD be putting PRESSURE on Mexico to clean up it's corruption and find jobs for their own people! And I find it VERY hypocritical that Mexico encourages it's citizens to come here illegally and.....well try sneaking into Mexico from Guatemala and see what happens.
This country is giving Mexico too much of a free pass.

I'm inclined to agree with patriot07, with the exception being that I once had some respect for the country, but that's been lost lonnnngggggggggggggggg ago, and doesn't look like it's coming back any time soon. Immigration? The word "ILLEGAL" is the key here, and whether you report me doesn't disturb me one peso's worth. God Bless you.

In my opinion I think that the rules for Hispanics should go for all illegal immigrants not just one nationality
