I am a mattress and can get a quality mattress for practically nothing- but I am wondering if this is practical for size- or if this is a interior decor no no- I use my bedroom only for sleep amd reading which a queeen will be plently big- also there are my "social agendas" I am used to a king now but size doesnt matter when it comes to mattresses does it??? :-)

I don't think it is silly at all. I have a huge California King size bed and I am single. As long as it will fit in your bedroom then I think you should get one. I like sleeping right in the middle of mine. Just keep in mind though, that sheets and spreads cost more than a queen and they are harder to move around.

It depends on how long you plan to be single. I say if you're gonna be single for at least 5 years, get a queen to spare space in the bedroom, if you think tying the knot is near, get a king. You never know if you'll end up sleeping with a bed-hog.

it's not silly. I have a king size bed and a SMALL room and there is no way i would get rid of it for a smaller mattress. i have seen interior design mags that have addressed this situation and if it works for you then go for it.

it would cuase its a huge mattress and a small room and your by yourself so u no it is a little but then again you can have a alot of room for yourself
