The Creator came first and he formed that chicken from the ground.
Life is in the blood and God breathed life into the nostrils of man. So the chicken also has life because God gave it to him. He formed the animals and fowl from the ground and Adam got to name them all.

The Bible doesn't say anything about God creating the egg first so the chicken came first. No doubting. See if you didn't have the Bible you scientist would think we came from monkeys and the egg came before the chicken. God said His creation is evidence that He exists and that man has no excuse not to believe in Him. Read Romans 1:20.
It is a principle, both in nature and in Scripture, that the type of seed determines the type of life which is produced from the seed. Corn seed produces corn; barley seed produces barley, etc. So it is also in the new birth or being born again. The seed is divine, incorruptible, eternal Word of God. The life which this produces, when received by faith into the heart of the believer, is like the seed - divine, incorruptible, eternal. It is, the very life of God Himself coming into a human soul through His Word.

John said, "Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God." 1 John 3:9 Doesn't mean a born-again Christian can never commit sin. It means a new nature has come into being. Paul calls this new nature "the new man." The contrast is the old man. New Man is righteous and holy. New man has the possibility of leading a life of complete victory over sin. The old man has no alternative but to commit sin. He is the slave of his own corrupt, fallen nature.

God made that stalk of corn that produced that seed.
God made that chicken that produced that egg.

Chicken

Genesis 1:20
Then God said, “Let the waters abound with an abundance of living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the face of the firmament of the heavens.”

Genes and enzymes are linked together in a living cell--two interlocking systems, each supporting the other. It is difficult to see how either could manage alone. Yet if we are to avoid invoking either a Creator of a very large improbability, we must accept that one occured before the other in the origin of life. But which one was it? We are left with an ancient riddle: Which came first, the chicken or the egg? - Robert Shapiro

God made the chicken first. thats what i believe anyways.
The Story Of Creation: (Genesis 1:1 - 2:3)
God created the sky, seas, and land. He created the plants, animals, fish, and birds. (just a segment.)
Actual verses:
1:1 In the begining God created the heavens and the earth. (1:2)Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was ober the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. (1:3) And God said, "Let there be light," and there was light. (1:4) God saw that the light was good, and he seperated the light from darkness. (1:5) God called the light "Day,"" and he called the darkness "night." And there was evening, and there was morning- the first day. (1:6) And God said "Let there be and expanse between the waters to separate water from water."(1:7) So God made the expanse and separated the water under the expanse from the water abouve it. And it was so. (1:8) God called the expanse "sky." And there was eveng, and there was morning- the second day.
ok so far i hope you kinda catch my drift, but i have to skip to animals because it will take me too long, if i write the whole thing
Genesis 1:24 And God said, let the land produce living creatures according to thier kinds:livestock, creatures that move along the ground, and wild animal, each according to its kind." and it was so. 1:25 God made the wild animals according to thier kinds, the livestock according to thier kinds, and all the creatures that move along the ground according to thier kinds,. and god saw that it was good.
i hope this was worth it because i spent a lot of good time doing it!

God created birds on the 5th day. I think he created the chicken first, because the bible says "Let the water teem with living creatures, and let birds fly above the the earth across the sky." (Genesis 1:20) An egg isn't a bird, its an egg. God created birds. A chicken is a bird. Chickens came first. :-) i guess.

okay, "boyee", here's my theory. I have always thought that question was ridiculous and still do, here's why:
That's like asking, which came first, the man or the embryo. God created man and they reproduced. Why would anyone think that he just created and egg to hatch. He created all the animals and they reproduced. You could ask that question about every living thing, and it wouldn't make any more sense than asking about a chicken. And...why the chicken do people wonder that about? Crazy. Fish lay eggs too. Does that mean He put alot of eggs in the seas, then came the fish?

If the chicken evolved, there had to be an animal somewhere back in time that was hatched from an egg that wasn't laid by a chicken, or else there had to be a first animal to lay an egg. What was that animal?

the chicken....

Genesis 1:20-23 Then God said, “Let the waters swarm with fish and other life. Let the skies be filled with birds of every kind.” So God created great sea creatures and every living thing that scurries and swarms in the water, and every sort of bird—each producing offspring of the same kind. And God saw that it was good. Then God blessed them, saying, “Be fruitful and multiply. Let the fish fill the seas, and let the birds multiply on the earth.”
And evening passed and morning came, marking the fifth day.

The chicken. Read the first chapter of Genesis. It says that God created the animals and brought them to Adam to name. I doubt it if he would bring Adam an egg. Also, it takes two. Ever heard of a rooster. How did evolution do that again????

The chicken. When God created everything, it was mature with the ability to reproduce. When Adam was made and in the Garden, it was ready to be eaten. Adam didn't have to wait for Harvest Time.
