On the jar, which I bought from the Selfridge's Food Hall, it mentions on the nutrition label it's a "Marshmallow Preparation Mix". Does anyone actually know how to make the Marshmallow sweets out of this stuff?

You don't make marshmallows out of it. You use it in recipes in place of marshmallows! Thanks for the giggle - and now I have a craving for 'Smors!!

You can't make a marshmallow itself out of it; the fluff is too runny.

You can use it in Rice Krispy treats, though. Just add to the pot and heat w/a bit of butter, per directions. Usually a weight of marlows is specified, so use the weight on the jar as your guide.

Your question has been answered!
Some ideas, now, to use up that marshmallow fluff that you purchased!
Mix in with cream cheese and use as a filling in crepes, with fresh fruit (strawberries ) over top This is sooo good.
Used mostly in fudge recipes
Use also as a banana split topping or with any ice cream/hot fudge/marshmallow topping.
Use as a 'dip'. or as was mentioned, in lieu of 'roasting' marshmallows, use the fluff with graham crackers and a chunk of hershey bar for a quick 'smore' treat.

I use it (and I'm Cordon Bleu trained) to make my childhood favorite,

Fluffernutters:

2 slices white bread
Peanut butter of your choice
Marshmallow Fluff

Procedure: make a PB&J sandwich, but sub out the jelly for Marshmallow Fluff..........I still like 'em at 50...........I guess some people never grow up (thank God!!!)

you don't make marshmallows out of it. It is the same or similar substance that marshmallows are made of, but Fluff is used for recipes or to spread. I have used it, mixed with butter, to fill cakes, etc.

If you want the individual marshmallows (like to put in cocoa, make rice crispy treats from, etc) then those are sold in 10oz and 16oz bags in the baking section of any grocery store.

Marshmallow Fluff is for melting/stirring/topping into various deserts to make them have the flavor of marshmallows. It is also reasonably good on ice cream.

Marshmallow Fluff is just that ... Marshmallow Fluff. It is an ingredient. You use it in Rice Krispies Treats, and in Fudge, and as D-rail said S'Mores
