two weeks ago (while she was still in a relationship her boyfriend after me) my ex girlfriend told me that she couldnt stop thinking about me. whenever she saw someone kiss, she thought of me not her boyfriend. she told me how well i treated her. she got my hopes up... and she broke up with her boyfriend the other day, and recently just told me that all of what she thought has gone away. is that even possible? and how do i deal with it???

she seems to be pretty wishy-washy...just ignore anything she tells you because she probably is confused about what she wants at this point...just give it a little bit more time and see how things work out..

She either is playing you or she's not letting herself feel the truth. I had a friend that used to do that all the time to guys and I finally told her she had to come to her true feelings and be with the guy or totally stop messing with him. She got mad at me and I stopped being her friend because I hate people that mess with other people... anyway, she decided to admit her feelings and act on them. They have been happily married for 15 years now. I started talking to her again when she gave up and went with her feelings. So maybe you need to tell her to own up to her feelings or leave you alone.

Hate to break it to you Chandler, but she's just fu(king with you.
Her boyfriend treated her like crap and everyone knew it and told her and she was like... damn it.
So she remembered you and how good she felt about herself when she was with you, so she thought... maybe...
But then she realized or remember why you two didn't work out in the first place, and she thought... hell no.

no offense but she got issues, she was probaly drunk when she said it but here is how i would deal with it kick her to the curb and stop waiting on her return cause what if she returns to you arent you afraid she is gonna say that to that other guy she left..my advice find someone new there are many flowers in the medow to pick..

She seems to be a bit of a tease. You'd be better off cutting her from your life- she's not worth the drama.
