If it is a felony, they can extradite you, i.e., basically arrest you and transport you to NJ.

If it's a minor charge, they'll probably choose not to spend the money to do this.

Most states are on a system in which they share criminal information. The warrant will most likely show in both states.

If the charge is serious enough that they entered the information into the National Crime Information Center database (NCIC), then any agency across the country that runs your name for wants or warrants will see the warrant information. However, if the warrant is in NCIC, the agency HAS to extradite unless specifically noted in the warrant hit that its not extraditable or has a limited extradition. For example, "No ex outside New Jersey" or "Ex surrounding states only" etc -- the arresting agency will call the agency that has the warrant to confirm extradition. Felonies will definitely be entered into NCIC, bigger bail amounts on misdemeanors and any charge that constitutes an officer safety issue (assault, certain theft, forgery, drugs etc) Obviously without knowing the charges or the bail amount, its hard to say for sure.

So I guess the best I can tell you is that yes, the warrant may show up, and yes they might extradite.

Your record will show that you have an outstanding warrant, and that is what they will arrest you for anywhere you are.
They wont take you to Pa. If your wanted for something bad enough then Pa will come get you.
But in most cases you will have to post bail in both Pa and NJ, then they will let you go. I guess if you don't go back to Pa for your court date (which you will get when you post bail) then you would get a failure to appear, probably in both states.
If you have a warrant in PA right now, either go to the court house, or send a bail bondsman down to post bail for you. You will get another court date, but in the meantime your record will be free of warrants. But they might stipulate that you cannot leave the state.

They can take you anywhere that you are wanted its call extradition, and if you get pulled over by the police and you have a warrant, there is a good possibility that it will show up, depending on what the warrant is for.
