unlike christians, muslims and jews both believe christ wasnt the messiah

also they both pray to the same God and seem to have similar religious morals

I understad mohamed was a great prohphet of the muslim fate, but nontheless they recognize him only as a prophet unlike chrisitans do christ

so fundamentally what is the main difference, seems to me they are very similar but just seem be different in respect with there nationality

Correct me if im wrong, but dont they both respect the Old testament, although muslims take the Quoran in the way christians take the new testament

But isnt the Quaron very similar to the Old testament in any case

What are the main differences ?

Jews is short for Yehudah, a tribe of Yisrael.

Muslims are the people who follow the religion Islam with Prophet Muhammad, the Koran & Muhammad's One Allah. That to believe in Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God is a great blasphemy to add partners with Allah. And the cross is a lie.

There are Messianic Jews out there also. They are Israelis who believe Yeshua the Messiah. Christians are the people of other nations who believe in Jesus Christ.

The fundamental Muslims take the Koran literally. That Allah is One, and Mohammed His Prophet, and the Koran is the perfect Word of God. And they will kill even family if family member leaves Islam.

The fundamental Christian or Messianic Jew is Believing Yeshua Messiah/ Jesus Christ the Son of the Living God. He shed His own blood for the remission of our sins and raised from the dead (because He was without sin) for our justification. That God so loved the world that he gave His Only Begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him (from all nations) will not perish (hell) but will have ever lasting life.

Jews are a tribe of Israel. So some have rejected Yeshua the Messiah, Son of the Living God, cross & resurrection. Some have accepted Yeshua the Messiah, the Son of the Living God, cross & resurrection.

The Koran has verses that tell people to kill enemies of Islam if they are oppressed or doen't believe their way. The old testament doesn't. The bible / Jesus doesn't tell Christians to kill their enemies (other people), but to love their enemies.

the basic underlying theme of pure monotheism is the same. there are some differences in religious and dietary law, but at their core they are rather similar. opinions about the validity of certain holy books are disagreed upon. opinions about the status of a few certain individuals as prophets/messiahs is also disagreed upon. opinions about idols and the prohibition of heavenly imagery is basically the same. islam is an expansionist religion that seeks converts while judaism generally does not look to expand or seek converts, which is another difference. we both consider abraham to be our ancestor and we both accept that abraham was also the father of the other religion, so thats a similarity.

May the peace, blessing and mercy of God be upon you

I have to correct you, we as Muslims DO believe that Jesus Son of Mary was the messiah.

005:072] Surely, they have disbelieved who say: "God is the Messiah Jesus, son of Mary." But the Messiah Jesus said: "O Children of Israel! Worship God, my Lord and your Lord." Verily, whosoever sets up partners (in worship) with God, then God has forbidden Paradise to him, and the Fire will be his abode. And for the Zâlimûn (polytheists and wrong doers) there are no helpers.

[005:073] Surely, disbelievers are those who said: "God is the third of the three (in a Trinity)." But there is no god (none who has the right to be worshipped) but God alone). And if they cease not from what they say, verily, a painful torment will befall on the disbelievers among them.

[005:074] Will they not turn with repentance to God and ask His forgiveness? For God is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

[005:075] The Messiah Jesus, son of Mary, was no more than a Messenger; many were the Messengers that passed away before him. His mother [Mary] was a Siddîqah [i.e. she believed in the Words of God and His Books (see Verse 66:12)]. They both used to eat food (as any other human being, while God does not eat). Look how We make the Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) clear to them; yet look how they are deluded away (from the truth).

The only difference is the Jews reject the last two messengers of God, Jesus Son of Mary and Muhammad peace be upon them both.

The Jew is willing to live and let live and does not try to push his religion or lifestyle down anyone's throat. The Muslim fundamentalist (yes I am being very specific here) is willing to let certain "People of the Book" (like Jews) live as second-class citizens. Everyone else has to be converted or killed. Moderate Muslims do not follow that specific creed but our problems are always with the extreme, be they Muslim, Christian, or whatever.

I don't think Jews believe in Muhammad which is one of the profits that the Quran talks about. The last one in their perspective. I don't think Jews consider Muhammad a messenger from God. I could be wrong though.

Muslims believe that the Bible is corrupted, but they need stuff to support their Holy Book and they believe that the part of it is authentic ( Muhammed asks people to believe that the Bible is true ). They also need the Bible to "prove" that the Bible tells about Muhammed. ( It is not telling about Muhammed )

Jews do not believe in Qur'an nor they believe that Muhammed is the prophet send by their God, God of the Bible.

Muslims believe that killing in the name of Mohammed and Allah are appropriate if one does not take Islam as their religion. Jews generally don't care about anyone's religion.
