Instead of listening to hearsay, why don't you stop and consider these things for a few moments.

You are here, living on earth - right?
Look at your hands, your face (in a mirror) your feet.
Think about everything you are!
You have identity, even identical twins have presence to know they are two individuals exactly alike, but even subtly they are different as well.
So, you have presence of mind - you can think - react -
yet, there is something that is more important that all of this -
that's time and space - you live right now.
Can you accept that, as random or design created for a purpose by a God who loves you, or by static elements that gives no purpose, no hope, nothing to why you are unique.

Personality is dual. It is encoded in your genetic structure before you were born and it is something you experience.

Well yes...there is a God, and Yes, there are billions of people who have believed in God. The evidence that I could give you is that you are the evidence.

I believe in God, most definately. But I wanted to give my opinion of why alot of people may not. I think it's because they have to SEE to believe and because they can't see Him, they have a hard time believing He is real. I see what you are saying about we are the evidence, I totally agree. It's not only ourselves that it is evident, but in everything around us. It is refreshing to read things from believers. God Bless and keep you always.

As humans we have created religion to support what we can not explain. And although evolution is a theory being explored, it has yet to be thoroughly proved. So, we can not scientifically explain why we are here. And as a result, people turn to religion. Ancient civilizations rationalized things which they could not explain, such as the Greeks. They did not know why the sun sets and rises. So they formulated a god Helios that rode in a chariot and guided the sun. Now that we know scientifically the that earth revolves around the sun etc, that belief no longer exists. What will happen when our existence can be explained? Will the book of Genesis be labeled as a myth too, along with the Greek god Helios? Religion is some what of a "cope out". Even though I have in a sense put down religion, or at least diminished the foundation of it, does not mean I am against it. I support people who have accepted a religion. I It gives people a sense of purpose and belonging (another reason it has been created). I would never say anything against someone who is religious, I just personally cannot accept that path.

because there is no evidence.

allright let me stop and consider these things.

1. yes im here on earth. im looking at my hands, my feet (in a mirror) im thinking about everything i am.

2. i do have identity, yes even twins have individual identities.

3. mmhmm, i do have presence of mind. i can thing, react. i Am a conscious being.

4. theres something more important than life?

5. uh....time and space isnt more important than life.

6. well just so you know the whole "design" theory of yours is inherently and largely flawed. so no, i cant accept that.

7. sorry dude, but hope and purpose are either given to us by others or are derived from within. we give ourselve purpose. our biological purpose is to procreate. other than that each purpose is a selfish one (to take a bit from Dawkins there)

sorry dude but nothing that you reccomended to consider is in any way evidence for the existence of your god.

as fro me being the evidence that there is a god.

would a muslim be evidence that Allah exists?

would a hindu be evidence that _______ exists (sorry, the name escapes me)

if my existence is evidence of your gods existence then your existence is evidence that XXXX gods exist (replace with ranom name of a god)

your logic is flawed and i dont think you have any idea what youre talking about. i strongly reccomend seeking educational assistance or at least a critical thinking class.

all of us comprehend God chosen us because of the fact Jesus informed us so. He mentioned, "you have not chosen Me, yet I chosen you and appointed you which you're able to bypass and undergo fruit and that your fruit could proceed to be etc." (John 15:sixteen). There are additionally different scriptures which advise that God does the picking or drawing or calling - which incorporate Acts 2:39, John 10:3, John 6:40 4, 2 Thessalonians 2:13, Ephesians a million:4 etc

I don't 'choose' to believe in anything. I believe what I believe based on evidence. There is no credible evidence for god, therefore I don't believe.

The evidence you cite is explained by natural processes.

Read a book on evolutionary biology, genetics, cosmology, astronomy, physics and maybe you'll realize that the universe is a wondrous place full of mystery and beauty and it doesn't require a god for it to be so.

Your whole argument is based on the ASSUMPTION that life was created. You have no proof that life was created and therefore your whole argument is based on a guess.

I do not believe that anything in the universe was created by an intelligent being. I think the very idea is absurd and it requires a lifetime of brainwashing for someone to believe in it.

You can't possibly believe what you say would change my mind at all.

I didn't just one day decide not to believe.....I did a lot of investigating and soul searching over a long period of time and came to the conclusion that for me there is no God.

Questioning what I believe is right for me says something about you.

identity is a collection of your thoughts creating your ego, let go of your thoughts and you will see what you really are and see that you are god and your subconcious mind is endless, there is hope without believing in an exterior god creating you, you are a part of everything and after you die you are still a part of everything, nobody planned you, after you die you do not go anywhere, all of your ideas and thoughts of you go away, if you learn that "you" do not really exist you will understand,
read about buddhist meditation and see for yourself instead of following what you are told

I know for a fact that God exists. God is everywhere and everything. Every person is part of God. This belief is unpopular as it doesn't concentrate power, wealth, or fear.

I just can't stand those outdated religions (Big 5) with their threats, fear mongering, and overt attempts to destroy each other so that one may win the game and rule the world.

Basic honesty.

There's no evidence. What you've got here is not evidence - it's appeal to popularity followed by a meaningless slogan ("...you are the evidence"). Slogans aren't evidence, and popularity contests aren't either.
