The whole world should practice their religion in the privacy of their own homes, and designated churches, synagogues, temples and mosques. They should also be tolerant of other religions, and not flaunt or try to convert others to their own. They should also know that there is no such thing as the Chosen People. Meaning, no one religion is better then the other, maybe then we can all get along with each other, instead of thinking that we have the superior religion or belief. Leading to hate and war.

I don't think one world religion would work very well. First of all, consider the amount of power that religion would have. Lord Acton's comments about power corrupting come to mind.
Another difficulty would arise from the problems arising from the idea that people can't agree on something as simple as what the speed limit on highways ought to be. Imagine the debates about an unknown and unknowable supreme being.
I once worked in Oklahoma City, and lived in an apartment about a mile from the main route to the Interstate I drove to work. As I drove that mile, I passed four different Christian churches. Each of these probably would agree on the basics of their faith and yet have found enough difference in interpretation to go off and found a church of its own.
Imagine that on a global scale.

In the kingdom of God there is only one religion: loving service onto Him.
In this material world, will be possible, when the people give up the external designations of belonging to certain type of faith and situate themselves in the spirit platform, beyond of the material bodily concept.

No more than we all should be one race. We were created to be different but the same. All religions have one common goal and that is the belief in a higher power other than ourselves. A spirtual (not necessarily religious)belief is what keeps us grounded. If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything.

There's only two sorts of religion in the Bible:
- Impure religion: "law" = "both good and evil"
- "Pure religion": "grace" = good only, never evil(law)
http://www.godshew.org/RevelatorySermons7.htm
Pure: "I will never leave thee nor forsake thee": Friend
Impure: "I will forsake you", the city, your fathers: Enmity
http://www.godshew.org/TwoGods.htm
Pure religion paid a "visit"; Not a ransom;
Arrived undefiled and remained unspotted,
in a come & go "visitation" to the "afflicted".
James 1:27 - New Testament - Holy Bible
As for the entire world, "we all are one": one what?
So far we're "one proselyte": "more the child of hell".
Which means we're all grounded till we grow the f up.
However "the end" of the God Shew is already written;
And it notably has no mention of imp-u-are religion at all.
Getting there alive unto God requires weight loss: Heb 12.
The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

As Isaiah wrote, "“In the last days the mountain of the LORD’s temple will be established as chief among the mountains; it will be raised above the hills, and all nations will stream to it. Many peoples will come and say, ‘Come, let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob. He will teach us his ways, so that we may walk in his paths.’ The law will go out from Zion, the word of the LORD from Jerusalem. He will judge between the nations and will settle disputes for many peoples. They will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not take up sword against nation, nor will they train for war anymore.” And again, Isaiah foretold, “Every warrior’s boot used in battle and every garment rolled in blood will be destined for burning, will be fuel for the fire. For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders…Of the increase of his government and peace there will be no end.”

One that beleives in a greater force. Much like God.
God created science, yet humans beleive it's God-like powers, yet He created it.
I wish there could be religions that's half scientology and half Christianity, because that's what I beleive.

Hold that thought while I get a straight jacket!
If one wins out all science will be halted and humans will be reduced to the life of yeast. We will reproduce, consume all resources, and then perish in our own waste.
