There can only be one truth in all things. The key is to find it. Although it is convenient to say that all roads lead to one true God, Jesus never said that following him would ever be convenient.
For narrow is the road that lead to everlasting life, and few will find it.. (Matthew)
Not because it is hard to find, only because few are willing to lose their current "life"style to be made anew.
People who have no belief in God do not realize that disbelief IS their religion. Their religion is the theories of mathematicians. If a mathematician tells them that the Big Bang was formed my matter that came from nowhere, their faith is placed in the mathematician.

you don't have to! what you want to believe is up to you. i think a great way of understanding religion is by this short story:
there was a village and all the people who lived in the village were blind. one day a circus came to the village and all the people were really excited because an elephant was coming with the circus and none of the blind people had ever experienced an elephant before. when the elephant came they went up to it an felt it. one person felt the trunk, another an ear, someone else felt the tail and another person felt the torso. when these people went to tell the others in the village wat the elephant was like they all came up with completely different descriptions.
this is like religion in the way that no one can fully know wat religion or god is but they have an idea, a glimpse of the truth in a human mind and that different people describe the same thing in different ways.
so all religions have an aspect of the truth but are not whole because we do not have all the capacities to understand it as human minds are too small to completely understand.
a bit strange but hope this helps!

Yep - why should you? Most religions are just superstition and occult. They mainly stem from one of two souses IE the Abraham religions and the Hindu group. Evidence is emerging that the Abraham religions (Judaism, Christianity, Islam) all stem from a fusion of Egyptian worship of the sun god Ra and Zoroastrian.
So - take your pick, I looked at them all and found them all to make no sense. Except for Zen Buddhism. For although it stems from Hinduism it does not have the superstition and occult bit. It has a lot of useful information and a very useful technique.

Religion is like the witnesses of a car crash.
The car crash happened, there's no doubt about it, but everybody who saw it, and saw it from different angles, noticed different things and only saw certain details, and every single one of them described the car crash in a different way.
The same is true for the worlds religions.
Most are right, some are mistaken, some embellished and others didn't embellish enough, while some others out there just pretended they were tat the car crash and saw everything.
None have the full story, thats up to you to find my friend.

You don't have to believe one religion over another. There are lot of people in this world who believe a bit of many religions.
It is up to the individual as to what they want to believe.

People will tell you to believe what they have been conditioned to believe. They will ALL call this condition, the `truth`, the `way`,etc, simply repeating what others have conditioned them to believe, dogma by rote. Avoid the treadmill of superstition, think for yourself, remember not one believer has EVER provided proof of any of the nonsense he wants you to swallow!
