Shakespeare's plays are full of them. eg (from "Macbeth"):
“Let every man be master of his time”
“If there come truth in them”
“If ’t be so,for Banquo’s issue have I fil’d my mind”.

We all refer to "the powers that be" and say things like "you dare!"
Those are both in the present subjunctive, as are the following:
"It is my recommendation that he resign"
I"f that be the case, there is little more we can do"; "Tie her up securely, lest she escape"; "I suggest that you rephrase that question."

Other examples: "far be it from me"; "be that as it may"; "God save the Queen"; "God bless you" "come what may"; "suffice it to say"; "heaven forbid"; "perish the thought"; "God help you" and Nelson's famous speech before the Battle of Trafalgar: "England expects that every man should do his duty." (He could have just as well have said "..that every man do his duty".)
