I was just being nice! I'm holding the door open for her at the florist shop and she dropped her flowers which fell right at my feet, so I picked them up and handed them to her. Talk about rude, afterwards, she spit in my eye!

Spitting is assault? Jeez, I never knew. Still, I think pressing charges over this is going too far just like how that mom got 2 years for throwing something out of roadrage.
Sorry, but I don't exactly wish to be one to participate in America's favorite pastime of "suing thy neighbor." I wonder if she'd go into a plea bargain of no sentence in exchange for an apology and a homemade string bean casserole. Pecan pie or homemade chocoloate chip cookies would be OK too. Wait, she might put laxative or rat poison in them. Better just ask her to pay for my next ordered bouquet of flowers.

Assuming this is true, I would have called 911 and pressed charges, and I would have forced her to stay put (under the protection of a citizen's arrest) until the police got there.
Spitting is assult. I'd press to the full extent of the law. Assuming what you wrote is true.

First, the answer to your question is WALK AWAY.
I'm assuming either this really happened or you are mad at a self proclaimed feminist today.
A feminist is someone who believes in the equality and full humanity of both women and men.
Other than that core belief, they are as varied as anyone else. Some have bad days and are really rude at times. This has nothing whatsover with their feminist beliefs.
If you are having a bad day and snap at someone or cut them off or whatever, what would that have to do with your political beliefs?
Etiquette has very little to do with politics. There is no excuse for bad manners.
I hold the door open for people who are right behind me or who appear to need help, regardless of who they are. Polite is polite. I am often mistreated by certain groups of people where I live. For example, I will hold the door open for a group of people entering behind me, and they will laugh and make comments about me or my demographic (different from theirs). At other times, others of their demographic will slam the door in my face, again making rude remarks about me and the differences between us. Now, unless you can say most of the feminists you've encounted are like this, you aren't even pointing out a trend in your area. You are just describing a negative encounter between two human beings.
Just like I don't feel all members of this particular group that I refered to are always rude everywhere, I don't feel that feminists as a group are always rude or against men being polite. I think someone (you or her) was just having a bad day or were/are being rude.

well one watch your eye out asap and your face spit carries a lot of germs, second consider the source she is a feminist so you say what a contridicate in terms one who believes we should be equal in pay and leagal things at work such as man but still expects to be treated as a women . they are to extreme. yes we should have fair teatment and equal pay in the workplace as men but be proud you are a women and carry your self as one not some women who thinks she should be a man. i say give her back her flowers and even say have a good day and God loves her . the kinder you are to people who attack the more confused and cowardly they get

Forget about it, some people just have no manners, I would not label her a feminist though. As I am sure a lot of feminist are polite, doing an act of kindness is it's own reward, even if the person you do it for behaves like an animal. Don't stop being kind because some person is a jerk, be they male or female.

Kick her in the teeth - then press charges against her for assault with a deadly weapon.
Now you have to go to the hospital and get tested for AIDS and other diseases.

She was extremely rude. I would not do anything. What is there to do? Tell her off? I guess you could, but I do not think I would be bothered as she probably would not get it.
Just remember that not all women think that way.

I think she must have been a bit insane to do such a thing. But don't let it discourage you from being nice and chivalrous. Most women (me included) greatly appreciate it.

whoa!! That is so mean. I love men too much to be like that to them. Even if one is a feminist they should respect the opposite sex. That is rediculous. Especially when you are respecting them! She is stupid.
