What about homemade soups? and a roll? Or make 'separates' like sliced apples and a bit of peanut butter in a small container.Or:
cottage cheese and fruit
Yogurt and a salad or simple cheese sandwich
a chef salad and dressing in a container
Leftover dinners microwave easily and are better than purchased.
Tortilla wraps...cream cheese on bottom, turkey and lettuce and roll. Include a good pickle and chips or fruit on the side and you are set to go!
Does this help?

I have a daughter in high school and all they have for them at the cafeteria is garbage, high fat, unhealthy food. Take some fruit and low fat yogurt, even raw veggies or nuts to snack on until you get home and can eat something better for you.

I suggest a gourmet lunch. Professional, healthy, and delicious.
Shrimp Quiche
INGREDIENTS
1 (9 inch) baked pie shell
4 ounces small, cooked shrimp, peeled and deveined
2/3 cup grated Gruyere cheese
2 eggs, beaten
1 cup light sour cream
1 tablespoon finely chopped green onion
salt and pepper to taste
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Spread shrimp evenly across the bottom of the pie crust. Sprinkle cheese over the shrimp.
Stir sour cream, green onions, salt and pepper into the beaten eggs; then pour mixture evenly over the shrimp and cheese.
Bake in a preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes. Serve
Pasta w/ Pesto Sauce
INGREDIENTS
1 (16 ounce) package linguine pasta
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 small onion, chopped
8 cloves garlic, sliced
1/2 cup butter
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 cups milk
1 pinch salt
1 pinch pepper
1 1/2 cups grated Romano cheese
1 cup prepared basil pesto
1 pound cooked shrimp, peeled and deveined
20 mushrooms, chopped
3 roma (plum) tomato, diced
DIRECTIONS
Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Saute onion until tender and translucent. Stir in garlic and butter, and saute until garlic is soft and fragrant, about 1 minute. Dissolve flour in milk, then stir in. Season with salt and pepper, and simmer 4 minutes, stirring constantly. Add cheese, and stir until melted. Stir in pesto. Add shrimp, mushrooms and tomatoes. Cook 4 minutes, or until heated through. Toss with pasta until evenly coated.
Creme Brulee
INGREDIENTS
6 egg yolks
6 tablespoons white sugar, divided
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 1/2 cups heavy cream
2 tablespoons brown sugar
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C).
Beat egg yolks, 4 tablespoons sugar and vanilla in a mixing bowl until thick and creamy.
Pour cream into a saucepan and stir over low heat until it almost comes to boil. Remove the cream from heat immediately. Stir cream into the egg yolk mixture; beat until combined.
Pour cream mixture into the top of a double boiler. Stir over simmering water until mixture lightly coats the back of a spoon; approximately 3 minutes. Remove mixture from heat immediately and pour into a shallow heat-proof dish.
Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes. Remove from oven and cool to room temperature. Refrigerate for 1 hour, or overnight.
Preheat oven to broil.
In a small bowl combine remaining 2 tablespoons white sugar and brown sugar. Sift this mixture evenly over custard. Place dish under broiler until sugar melts, about 2 minutes. Watch carefully so as not to burn.
Remove from heat and allow to cool. Refrigerate until custard is set again.
