Single Guy: Any ideas for a bedroom decor- masculine but sexy?

Any tips for how to decorate a small bedroom for a single guy who wants the room to have an exotic, but simple theme thats kinda hot and intimate for female visitores???

On a serious note, get some live plants, orchids are nice.

Find a piece so odd that the girls will have to ask about it. Then you can tell them how you found it buried while you were digging the foundation for an orphanage in Zamunda during some volunteer work.

I just have to give you MY advice:) I would say smokey grey walls. A white comforter with white shams, grey sheets and grey pillowcases. Your room needs to smell very sexy...girls love smell, go for Yankee candle I think it is called midnight summer, its a dark blue candle, sexy smell! Add a couple small vanilla candles in drawers. Go with red and black drapery! Put a nice piece of framed art on the wall with dark colors like something contemporary. Last buy some paper stand lamps from Ikea or you can go to Ikea.com and add a small sheepskin rug 20.00 at Ikea but you can get them anywhere right in front of your bed. Sexy and classy! Good luck.

To me, the sexiest bedroom is a clean, orderly one, with clean sheets on the bed!! Seriously. If it smells nice that's a plus too. (Nothing is a bigger turn off than a messy, stinky room ) Your room should reflect something about your personality. I think earth tones are great...and dark tones like black and red together. Some simple statues or paintings look good too. But like I said, the best is a room that is clean and looks like you care.

I agree with Jessicah.. except for the window treatments.. Black ok.. but black and red.. reminds me of a cat house. Navy would be sharp, clean. Velvet or simple duck fabric. Or chocolate brown velvet or a deep kahki would look masculine also. The key: the simpler the better.

Plaid. There's something about a man in plaid that drives me crazy. A man's plaid bedroom is both masculine and neat. Don't go crazy with it, though. And only use blinds, no curtains. I learned a long time ago not to trust a man with curtains.

--candles: only if they're new....the girl wants to think you got it for HER....she doesn't want to think she's just...."next in line"
--girls like clean bedding....to YOUR color taste....don't try to guess HERS...she wants to think she's "getting to know you"
--a tv/radio or books in the room by bed...girls don't want to think you just lie there j a c k i n g off
--"masculine decor"....decorate to your own taste/interests....let her see the man you are...she'll either dig it....or move on
